Please join EY and the CLSA Corporate Counsel Committee to learn about the new revenue recognition standard, known as ASC 606, is required to be adopted by public companies on January 1, 2018 and by private companies one year later. EY partners Dan Coleman and Phil Howard have already helped several CLSA companies and we would like to welcome others to come learn how to identify steps you can take now when drafting new life science revenue arrangements to avoid unnecessary accounting complications when the new revenue standard is adopted. This topic may be of particular interest for companies who anticipate entering into license and collaboration arrangements. This discussion is important for transaction/commercial lawyers, business development directors, and those in the Finance department who are responsible for the accounting for revenue arrangements, as well as others who are involved in the contracting process (business development and legal).
