No boring speeches. No official program. Just an opportunity for fellow life sciences executives to connect and discuss opportunities while enjoying a glass of wine in a relaxed atmosphere.

The BayBio Board of Directors invites you to attend a reception welcoming Carsten Schroeder, President of Novartis Diagnostics and Head of the Novartis Emeryville Site. In the Bay Area, more than 1,000 Novartis associates are dedicated to researching, developing, manufacturing, and successfully marketing a range of innovative drugs and diagnostics. The Novartis Emeryville campus is home to Novartis Diagnostics, a global leader in blood and transfusion safety, and two groups from the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research, the company’s global pharmaceutical research organization.

Building on a legacy of scientific discovery, dedication, and market leadership, Novartis Diagnostics is committed to protecting patients who depend on blood transfusions for their medical care and survival with an increasingly broad range of innovative laboratory testing solutions designed to help reduce transfusion risk. The Oncology Research and Infectious Disease groups of the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR, the global pharmaceutical research organization for Novartis) focus on exploring key pathways that cause cancer and identifying mechanisms of resistance, and on searching for new antimicrobials against bacterial and viral infections and novel viruses that might contribute to other human diseases. Together, these organizations support the Novartis commitment to caring and curing.

Come meet Carsten and learn more about Novartis in the Bay Area.

*Open to C-Suite Executives of Life Sciences Companies Only. This event is by invitation only and the invitation is not transferrable.
