CLSA in Politico: California Coalition Launches Campaign Against Transparency Bill

The California Life Sciences Association launched a website targeting legislation in that state that would require drug companies to notify state health agencies at least two months in advance of plans to increase prices by 10 percent or more or to introduce a new drug that costs more than $10,000. The site dubs the bill “More Red Tape & Bureaucracy Instead of Medical Progress.” The bill is sponsored by Senate Health Committee Chairman Ed Hernandez and had a hearing last month.
