FAST-track your way to funding and success
After hearing from BayBio Fellows, investors, and other life science leaders, BayBio is pleased to announce the launch of the new Fellows All-Star Team (FAST) Advisory program. Our goal is to help the most promising young Bay Area life science companies FAST-track their way to funding and success.
The program draws on a high-level team of serial entrepreneurs, researchers, investors and business advisors with expertise in clinical development, regulatory, reimbursement, financing and business development, to provide select entrepreneurs with intensive team review and coaching to perfect their business model and develop a compelling commercialization strategy.
This program is available only to BayBio Fellows and applications are currently open for the fall program. It will kick-off with an initial Pitch Showcase in late September for chosen applicants. Based on the recommendations from a distinguished review panel, a select group of 2-4 Fellows will be invited to participate in the team advising program. Each Fellow will be paired with a team of 4-5 advisors who will meet weekly with them for one-hour coaching sessions between early October and early December (i.e. 8 sessions). These meetings will culminate in a final Pitch Showcase to which investors will be invited.
If this is the right time for you to refine your business plan and build a team of trusted advisors – and if you are willing to make this important investment of time and effort – please visit www.baybio.org/fast-advisory.
Fellows who apply and are selected to participate in FAST Advisory must agree to participate in all aspects of the program, including the Sept. 26 Opening Pitch Showcase, Dec. 12 Closing Pitch Showcase and weekly FAST Advisory appointments Oct. 7 through Dec. 6. Selected candidates must also commit to an active graduate participation program.
