Lilly Partnering Day

To remain innovative in our science, we must also be innovative in our partnerships. Today, they are a vital part of how Lilly Global External R&D does business. In fact, these partnerships are allowing us to speed up drug discovery, delve into a wider pool of potential drug candidates and reach more patients worldwide.

Through unique external collaborations, Lilly is accessing innovation, identifying novel funding sources, and giving more assets the opportunity to meet the needs of patients who are waiting around the world.

Global External R&D at Lilly is about eighty employees strong; a reflection of Lilly’s commitment to exploring external innovation.
Lilly’s Global External R&D therapeutic area experts cover every
continent in the world in the search for companies and individuals with
new, innovative discoveries. These therapeutic area experts are Lilly’s
global scientific ambassadors, and they will objectively evaluate your
discovery to see if it is a good fit for Lilly’s portfolio. In doing so,
they will use the same kind of imagination and inventive belief that
drove the launch of our company more than 135 years ago.
