Executive Vice President, Managing Partner, Kidder Mathews
Gregg Domanico devises and implements real estate and facilities strategies for his life science and corporate clients. He brings over 25 years of experience in optimizing facility operations and reducing occupancy costs. With his expertise as an industrial engineer, he analyzes space utilization, operational processes, and performance metrics to ensure client success. As an Executive Vice President and Managing Partner of Northern California region for Kidder Mathews since December 2007, he has grown the operation from one office with 15 agents to three offices with 72 agents, while adding property management and valuation services. In addition to his real estate brokerage activities, he has provided facility and operations consulting services for his clients. Gregg prides himself in partnering with his clients to offer thoughtful and effective solutions to improve real estate and facilities performance.
Rico Cheung, Executive Vice President, Partner, Kidder Mathews
Rico joined Kidder Mathews’ Corporate Advisory Group in February 2008. He leads real estate strategy and implementation projects for startups to established companies. His goal is to assist his client to grow their business by providing greater choice and value in the Bay Area real estate market. Rico has over 25 years of experience in the life science real estate sector and in-depth market knowledge throughout the Bay Area. He has developed his clientele from serving life science, cleantech and technology companies and growing with his clients as they succeed in their business.
Albert Chiang, Managing Principal, CAC Architects
Albert is the Managing Principal and co-founder of CAC Architects with over 27 years of experience in the profession. His background includes management of multi-disciplined teams for a variety of project types and sizes, focusing on building shells, complex laboratories, corporate offices, and mission critical facilities. Albert also has significant experience with spaces for highly technical R+D labs and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
Dan Hipple, Former Sr Director, Facilities and Operations, Theravance
Daniel Hipple is the former Senior Director of Facilities Services for Theravance Biopharma Inc., (now semi – retired, but still consulting), and has over 32 years of experience working in the Bio/Pharmaceutical industry. During 17 years at Theravance Biopharma, Dan managed the construction of a new campus consisting of two Class A lab/office complexes comprising a total of 170,000 sq. ft. Dan was formerly Director of Facilities at AXYS Pharmaceutical from 1991 to 1998, and was at Genentech from 1986 to 1991. Dan has managed the construction of over 2,500,000 sq. ft. of lab/office space in the Bay Area over the past 32 years, for approximately 61 companies. Dan also works as a consultant to a diverse group of Bio/Pharmaceutical related businesses.
