Fran began her career at Stanford Research Institute (SRI International) as a research analyst in the Life Sciences Division over 35 years ago. While in that role, she developed her passion for the industry and its potential in our society. In 1987, she specifically joined the Ernst & Young Life Sciences Practice (previously known as Arthur Young) as a result of her experience at SRI and her passion for the industry. Fran has worked for EY for over 30 years, and for the past 19 years, Fran has been an assurance partner in that practice. Her clients have ranged from early-stage companies to mid-size commercial companies to multinational, multi-product organizations. Fran has played a key role in helping companies work through the details of a variety of corporate deals, including collaboration agreements, product launch and commercialization strategies, business combinations, corporate spin-offs, reorganizations, and mergers and acquisitions. Her depth of industry knowledge and experience enables her to provide collaborative assistance to companies embarking on such transactions. She has also had personal involvement in over 50 public stock offerings, including over 20 IPOs. Fran is also a board member of Women in Bio.
