Manager, Business Development
Heather Reed serves as the Manager of Business Development. Heather is responsible for ensuring business growth through managing sales activities. Based in CLSA’s San Diego office, she identifies and engages new opportunities for membership within the life sciences sector while maintaining CLSA’s existing membership portfolio. Heather works with CLSA member companies helping them identify ways to maximize their membership through CLSA Purchasing Group contracts. Heather works closely with the team on all marketing activities and networking events that connect our members with our vendor community.
Before joining CLSA, Heather worked at Aya Healthcare as a Physician Recruiter and Account Manager where she was responsible for expanding business nationwide, placing clinical physicians in hospitals and account management. Prior to Aya Healthcare, Heather worked at XIFIN, a medical billing software company, as a Manager of Client Success. In this role, she drove behavioral change to generate revenue by providing solutions within medical billing platforms for laboratory management. Heather holds a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University, and bachelor’s degree in Communication from California State University San Marcos.
