7:00am - 5:00pm

Annual MedImmune California Translational Science Forum:
Digital Health Transforming Drug Development

Digital technologies are transforming how we understand patient health and diseases. With the increased adoption of electronic medical records, omics, consumer digital devices, social networking, and mobile health, along with the use of machine learning and mobile computing – How can we now convert vast amounts of patient data into actionable insights? How can we ensure digital health translates to new therapeutics and personalized care?

MedImmune, the global biologics research and development arm of AstraZeneca, in partnership with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), will host a one- day forum in Silicon Valley to address these questions and more. The forum will provide a platform for academic institutions, industry and other organizations within the drug development ecosystem to share learnings, discuss recent advances in digital health, and to explore how digital innovations can revolutionize the way we develop and deliver medicines.

This forum will highlight digital data collection, analysis and its application in real- time patient monitoring, precision medicine, and disease management and prevention in the fields of cardiovascular metabolic diseases and oncology.

The Translational Science Forum will provide you the opportunity to:
