Novo Nordisk way of doing business

The Triple Bottom Line is the principle that guides Novo Nordisk’s way of doing business. It primes our business for long-term growth and drives our commitment to sustainable development: To meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. In day-to-day business, this implies that all decisions must seek to balance three considerations: Is it economically viable? Is it socially responsible? Is it environmentally sound? This is the Triple Bottom Line, which ensures that decision-making balances financial growth with corporate responsibility, short-term gains with long-term growth, and shareholder return with other stakeholders.
