During Biotech Week, high school science students:
• engage in hands-on biotech lab activities that involve bacterial transformation and polymerase chain reactions, including practice using a micropipette,
• learn about community college biotech programs that they can enroll while in high school, and
• meet people who work in the biotech industry and discover the diversity in STEM-related careers.
This is a great way to give back by inspiring the next generation of future science leaders.
