Will Zasadny serves as Director of Communications of the California Life Sciences Association (CLSA). In that capacity, he serves as CLSA’s media spokesman and is responsible for leading, developing and implementing CLSA’s comprehensive media relations strategy while contributing to the development and execution of CLSA’s public external messaging. Will leads the production of all CLSA digital advocacy efforts, press releases, white papers, reports, advocacy newsletters, op-eds, blogs, media advisories, infographics and more.
Prior to joining CLSA, Will served on the staff of Congressman Brian Bilbray, a member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, where he assisted Bilbray on policy matters of healthcare, defense, transportation, veterans affairs, homeland security and more. Prior to serving on Congressman Bilbray’s staff, Will served in Congressman Duncan Hunter’s office and the Iowa State Senate.
In addition to his role at CLSA, Will serves as a public affairs officer (PAO) and media relations liaison in the U.S. Army Reserves, holding the rank of Captain. Will earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from San Diego State University.
